Florida State Finals Updates

Sarasota - UPDATE (11:30 am - June 9th)


All games scheduled for Saturday, June 9th, at Buck O'Neil Complex (BOBC) and Ed Smith Complex (ESC) have been cancelled.  Games from Saturday will be moved to Sunday, June 10th, at the same scheduled time they were on Saturday. 

IMG COMPLEX games will begin today (June 9th) at 12:00 pm and will go until we run out of light. 


ED SMITH COMBINE SCHEDULE:  The combines are going today, both parts.  Please come at your scheduled time, or whenever you can get to Ed Smith - all teams should attempt to get through the combine today (June 9th).  If you cannot make the combine today, you can still go at your schduled time on Sunday (June 10th)

About Brian Werner
After pitching 2 years at Clemson University and making an appearance in the College World Series, Brian finished his baseball career at the University of South Florida. Shortly after, Brian served as the Director of Baseball Operations and Scouting for the New York Yankees from 1999-2004. In his time there, Brian assisted with draft preparations, processed scouting reports, maintained the Yankees pro scouting database, and served as the main contact between scouts in the field and the VP of pro scouting. In 2008, Brian caught on with Prospect Wire. Brian has since served in multiple capacities for PW from scouting, to organizing travel teams, to organizing events.
