Kind of a do-it-all player with versatility that would make him a sought after player at the next level. A solid upper D2/lower D1 prospect with a plus glove and workable tools at the plate. Probably best suited at 2B, he can play a variety of positions (SS/RHP/OF) due to being an exceptional athlete. A disciplined player with a solid eye at the dish. Good bat speed, level swing. Bat is avg for grad year but puts it in play and swings at hitters pitches. Works the count and has adequate enough speed to hit at the top of the order.
Would make a solid MIF at the D2 level, but has room to develop and grow and has shot at playing D1 ball if bat develops as he has shown it can.
Small frame, athletic body; 2B/SS/3B, but project him better in the OF; athletic enough to make the jump; has good instincts defensively; takes right routes to the ball; Swing gets loopy at times, long. Shows ability to shorten up and make better contact, but needs to continue to work on improving the bat speed/quickness. Bit below avg. through the zone when he gets long. Seemed to struggle more with upper level pitching, especially good breaking balls. Excellent student of the game/coachable.
Can have some use off the mound. Low 80's FB with some movement. SL/CB shows good, late depth. Conditioned arm that could service out of the pen. Will need to put on size to have a shot at lower end D1, but should compete at the D2, JuCo level.
