Short, athletic body; built like a 2B. Not much more room for growth, but can add size. Two way player that has more projection as a RHP out of the pen, then at the plate. Bat is below average in terms of bat speed and pop. He tends to get a bit "big" with his swing, instead of playing to his strengths. Needs to focus on contact first. Not built to be a power hitter. Runs bases ok, but takes risks. Needs to be a bit less aggressive and realize his speed is not top flight. The kind of runner that can be successful in situations, but cannot simply use speed to get out of a base running mistake.
Off the mound, arm slot & command are not consistent from over the top. Has success from the side/down under. CB/SL has more tilt down & away. FB shows more sink with run. Would be an effective 1-2 inning guy out of the pen...or even with some work, a utility guy in the field.
Overall, a great attitude & the type of player you want to have in your lockroom. Never backs down and always understands his role. Solid role player at the JuCo/D2/D3 level.
