2012 RHP with some pitchability; mixes between avg. FB and plus CH. Works down; a bulldog on the mound & an inning eater. Attacks hitters, keeping them off balance with a CH that can at times act like a hard slider/CB. Nothing overpowering, but keeps managing to win ball games. Mechanics need tinkering, but for now, they seem to work for him.
RHP that is a bulldog competitor on the mound. Has an average to slightly below avg. FB, but mixed with a plus CH, he gets by. Can locate his FB all over the zone, but release point is inconsistent. Gets a bit too "tucked" at balance, cause him to lean towards 3B dugout, and pitches to tail up & in. Can struggle with command at times. CH is his out pitch and it is nasty. Can throw it in ANY count. Pitch has plus actions down in the zone, acting almost like a CB at times, or even a splitter. With some work in the weight room and with proper off-season throwing routine, can put a few MPH on his FB. Knows how to finish games, and can be an innings eater. Kind of pitcher that gets stronger as the game progresses.
Solid JuCo/D2 guy right now...probably where he would best be suited at the next level.
