The Florida Futures are a travel baseball organization started by Prospectwire, Inc. devoted to giving players a place to play summer ball if they have difficulty finding a travel team to fit their needs and budget. Prospectwire works closely with travel teams across Florida, and therefore, does not recruit for the Futures year-round. Instead, Prospectwire begins recruiting for the Futures in May in hopes of finding players that can use the assistance of playing for a scout team. Prospectwire adds in features to players that play for the Futures including video, showcase participation, entrance into player database, scouting reports, private workouts and more.
